Hi I'm Indi the Imagination Elephant
At school we use our ‘imagining’ learning behaviour to help us learn how to use our imagination to understand new experiences and explore unfamiliar learning. In school your child may do this by: using their senses to explore new things, role-play or hot-seating for book characters or famous people or even meditation.
At home you can help your child to use their imagination by; encouraging them to answer questions about characters in books and how they might be feeling, playing in role play together, exploring new tastes or textures with their eyes closed or with different senses and going for sensory walks.
