Hi I'm Ivy the Imitating Iguana
In school we use our ‘imitating’ learning behaviour to help us learn how to imitate positive and helpful behaviour to help us in our learning. In school your child may do this by: Copying underneath a writing model for their letter formation and following instructions and imitating the adult’s behaviour in the classroom.
At home you can help your child to imitate by; encouraging them to copy writing underneath a model (sentences, words etc) to practice their letter formation. Give them instructions to follow to make them imitate positive behaviour.
