Hi, I'm Cathy the Capitalizing Cat
In school we use our ‘capitalizing’ learning behaviour to help us learn how to use people, books, the internet and our own experiences in our learning. In school your child may do this by: researching topics using their IPads, using texts or books to support understanding or using classroom resources which help them best to complete independent tasks.
At home you can help your child to capitalize by; asking your child what they need to help support them with their learning or homework challenges such as using counters or objects to help them visualise problems, exploring new topic or words together using different resources such as a dictionary or the internet.
